The Dow 30 stock index is the foundation of Dow Futures. A price-weighted average of 30 notable equities that are traded on the NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) makes up the Dow 30. Dow futures come in three varieties: DJIA, Big Dow DJIA, and E-mini Dow. The most widely used is the E-mini.
